PawMap helps dog owners find dog-friendly places — off-leash zones, cafes that welcome dogs, and council rules that apply where you walk. This page is the quickest way to reach us if something isn’t working or you have a question.

Email: app.info@mobidynamic.com.au — replies during Australian business hours (AEST).

PawMap is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any government or council. Off-leash rules, fines and on-the-ground signage are set and enforced by the relevant council, not by PawMap. Council policy data shown in the app is sourced from the official council websites listed under Council data sources below; always check the council’s own page for the most current rules.

Common questions

Council data sources

PawMap’s off-leash and on-leash policy data is drawn from the official websites of the Australian councils listed below. Each link goes to the council’s own page — the source of truth for the rules that apply on the ground. PawMap is not a government service and does not speak for these councils.

A small number of councils (notably Yarra, Randwick and Sutherland Shire) sit behind bot-protection services that can refuse automated requests. The pages open normally in a regular web browser — if a link below returns an error in an automated tool, open it in your browser instead.

New South Wales

Victoria

South Australia

Western Australia

Australian Capital Territory

Northern Territory

Outside these council areas, PawMap shows places from Google Places and dog-policy reports submitted by other dog owners. Those entries are clearly marked in the app and are not council data. Spot something wrong? Open the place, tap Report, and a moderator will review it.
